I have a table with multiple columns and rows and when I increase the rows,
they sometimes extend the table and part of the table moves to the next page. I would like the caption to repeat at the top of the table on the next page. Is this possible? and if so how. Thanks |

If you put the caption in the (merged) top row of the table, it can be
repeated along with the headings. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Kimberly" wrote in message ... In the past I have included the caption in a borderless row at the start of a
table which is Repeated along with the tables Title row(s). Be aware that it is not capable of creating captions directly within a table row, work-around is to create it as usual, then drag it into the cell. I am not sure if 2007/10 has changed in this respect. If your next question is - "can I have "continued" in the repeated rows on subsequent pages?" The quick answer is - no. this have been asked many times and there have been many attempts to get this working by some manner or other but I have not had good results. Maybe 2010 has changed this. Hope this helps DeanH "Kimberly" wrote: I have a table with multiple columns and rows and when I increase the rows, they sometimes extend the table and part of the table moves to the next page.
