The default button, provided the normal template is saved between Word uses,
should set the Envelope Address Paragraph style for envelopes created from the normal template. If you are creating envelopes from a document template the settings stored in the normal template will be superceeded by the settings in the envelope address style of the document template. If you are creating envelopes from the normal template and the settings do not stick, open the normal template (normal.dotm) in Word and make the changes directly to the envelope styles in it. Then save and close. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Mark" wrote in message ... Graham, Thanks for your reply. I followed the instructions to the letter with my Word 2007 program and it did not work at all. It still uses the headings format and I can't change the font type or size. Also, why does the simple default button not work when it states that it will will affect all new documents based on the NORMAL template?
