Default justifying paragraphs or entire documents

What toolbar icons or keyboard shortcuts are you using to apply the
justification? I presume you want full justification? CTRL-J is full;
CRTL-L is left justified, CTRL-R is right justified and CTRL-E is centered.
Or from the toolbar, Format, Paragraph, General, Alignment. CTRL-A selects
all.

I have my story written and corrected. Now I wish to justify the margins. It
doesn't work, no matter how many different ways I try it. I need to know how
to fix this problem.
