I have a document that I want to drop in form fields. One would be a part number field. I also reference this part number in many places throughout the document. I want to be able to change the part number in the first field and have it change it throughout the document. My page layout is such that it would not work to simply put it in the header.
Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated! Thanks |

See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...nTheBlanks.htm. If you are
using a recent version of Word (2007 or 2010), note that the commands for legacy form fields are located under the Legacy Tools button on the Developer tab. To display the Developer tab: Click Office button | Word Options | Popular and select the option which refers to the Developer tab (Word 2007) or click File tab | Options | Customize Ribbon (in Word 2010) and select the Developer tab so that it displays on the ribbon. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP --------------------------------------------- "Lpitt56" wrote in message ...
