I am using Word 2007. I have a document containing hundreds of
figures. Somehow, my figures are now numbered 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, 1- D, . . . 1-AAA, . . . ! How do I change this back to the default figure numbering (1, 2, 3, . . . )? Thanks, Alan |

Select one of the figures (the whole paragraph containing the figure
number). On the References tab, click Insert Caption. In the dialog box, click Numbering and choose the number format that you want. Click OK twice. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP --------------------------------------------- "AlanT" wrote in message ... On Feb 26, 9:00 pm, AlanT wrote: I am using Word 2007.
