Word document doesn't display correctly when on my wifes partition of our computer. All works ok for me (administrator) and you can see embedded graphs. Also an eight page doc gets spread over 43 pages!
Any suggestions to rectify please? Version Office for mac 2011

Since objects aren't displaying, take a look at

However, the fact that the number of pages increases significantly might
be a sign of a larger problem. Is there also "garbage" in the file
(squares or other symbols that can't be read)? In that case, the copy on
your wife's partition might be damaged. See

Stefan thanks for suggestions. It is all docs so unlikely that this one is corrupt. I'll try the link you suggested. Thanks

Are you saying the problem isn't limited to Word documents? If so, the
problem might be bigger than we assumed: your wife's computer may have a
damaged hard disk (worst case scenario).

Anyway, it seems like a good idea to ask in a MacWord forum. Good luck!
