I've used Word 2007 to create barcodes based on shipping addresses.
Is it possible to create a barcode based on information other than an address ? For example, dates, names, text, numbers, etc.. Or is this something a third party add-in would have to do ? kittronald |

I think you would need a barcode font at a minimum to be able to do this yourself.

Brian,
Thanks for the quick reply. Are there any recommended free barcode fonts or do they all operate the same way ? kittronald |

You can always go to a site to create barcodes and save the images to put into your document. I don't know how many barcodes you need so this might be pretty time-consuming, especially if you do have a lot. Here's a site I looked up: http://www.barcodesinc.com/generator/index.php Brent |
