Which kind of protection is this?
Note that if you are using forms protection or editing restrictions, spellcheck won't work unless you make use of a macro; see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/macrosvba/...ProtectDoc.htm. For installation instructions, take a look at http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP I too have the same question. like I have a protected section in a word document. The section below the protected section (continuous break) is editable. Now when i type in text in the first line (below the protected section) auto-spell check doesn't trigger but works fine from the second line on wards. Is there i am missing anything ?? why is spell check disabled for the first line ?? If i unprotect the document, spell check works fine even in the first line. Please provide some insights into this. Thanking you in anticipation. |
