Hi Colleen,
It sounds like you're trying to type the medical symbol for "with," which is a lowercase c with a line over it. Here's how you can do it in Microsoft Word:
Alternatively, you can use a keyboard shortcut to insert the symbol: 1. Place your cursor where you want to insert the symbol. 2. Hold down the Alt key on your keyboard. 3. Type 0233 (without the quotes) on the numeric keypad. 4. Release the Alt key. This should insert the symbol into your document.
