The proofing tools will not translate your document for you, you need a
human translator for that, or you will end up with gibberish. What the proofing tools provide are spell checking tools for languages other than the standard languages supplied as part of the Word package. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org a arnold wrote: I need to write letters in Endlish and convert to Chinese before I send them, Microsoft tell me to PURCHASE proofing program but nobody knows what I am asking for. I'm not sure there is another way but I believe using proofing tools is the
best way to prevent mistakes and communicate your document effectively in another language. http://www.translation.net/microsoft_proof_2003.html -- Paul Ballou MVP Office http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx http://office.microsoft.com/templates http://office.microsoft.com/home http://www.ballousgiftshop.com/p1152b/ Control the things you can and Don't Worry about the things you can't control.
