Hi,
I try to use Word -97 for documents containing both my native language Finnish and also ancient Greek (New Testament) alphabets. I have tried to use the Unicode Palatino Linotype font which includes those many apostrophes and other similar special characters the Greek language includes and which characters should be placed above the letters. If anyone can help me please: 1. The only way I have managed to type in the Greek letters is by changing the Input Locale to Greek. Is this the only way? 2. How can I get the apostrophes above the letters? I assume this should be the same thing as with the German "umlaut" (accent mark) etc? (= the apostrophes are separate fonts). 3. Is there any way to customise or "program" the keyboard with Word -97 so that I could say press ALT to get the Creek letters while using the Finnish Locale. Thanks for any help, Risto Apajalahti Finland |

... See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Genera...tSpecChars.htm . Thanks for that but it does not enable typing large amouts of text as with using multiple Locale settings. Answering my own Q, the "right" answer can be found from the link below which shows how to type all diacritics form the KB: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/p...polytonic.mspx ftec wrote: Hi, I try to use Word -97 for documents containing both my native language Finnish and also ancient Greek (New Testament) alphabets.
