2nd page header with letterhead
I am trying to insert a header on stationary with preprinted letterhead on
all pages. When I click the "do not put on first page" button, it takes the header and the letterhead off the first page, too! How do I fix it so that the printed letterhead stays on the first page but the header starts on page 2? |

2nd page header with letterhead
After you've enabled the "Different first page" option in File | Page
Setup, Layout tab, just cut the contents of the main header and paste it into the first page header. If you cannot see anything beyond the first page, you could temporarily insert a page break; then you can access the second page and get access to the main header. For more on letterhead creation, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm. General information about headers and footers can be found at http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "jackievar" wrote in message ...
