Default Use One Month on a 12 Month Calendar

I am using a 12 month calendar I downloaded for Word to set up a monthly
schedule. After completing a month, I need to attach just that month to
e-mail and send it . Is there an easy way to select just one month and save
it as a Word file? I have been going in and erasing all the other months, but
that takes awhile. Any ideas?

Have you tried to copy and paste the relevant parts into a new document, and
then save it?

I did try that, but the results did not fit on the new page. The calendar
months are in table form. The pasted table ran off the page on the left and
right side. Do you think I did something wrong in selecting the table?

Thanks, Stefan.

No, I think you had not properly prepared the document into which you were
pasting. You need to set the orientation (presumably landscape) and margins
the same as the calendar document.

That was it, Suzanne. Simply change the page orientation! I don't have an
excuse... should have seen that.

Notice you are in Fairhope. We live on Lake Martin... almost neighbors.

Many thanks for you help.

I have visited Camp ASCCA, specifically the Environmental Center, which our
Rotary club helped to sponsor. I suspect that the view from those huge
windows would be quite different from what I saw in May 2004! In fact, the
photo at http://www.theenvironmentalcenter.org/ shows it overlooking mud
flats. I know this is really difficult for you folks.

One caveat about pasting into a prepared document: this can sometimes
surprise you. I have a template for a 4" x 6" index card. I created some
content in a document based on this card and then decided I wanted to paste
it into a document of a different size. So I created a new document, which
was empty except for the default empty paragraph. I used Insert | File to
insert the content of the index card. Although the InsertFile command is
supposed to drop the final paragraph mark (which holds the section/document
formatting), I found that this is not true when you use it in a completely
empty document. To my surprise, I saw that the Letter-size document had
become a 4x6 card!

This is not a problem, of course, if you're pasting just part of the content
of another document, but if you are pasting the entire document (even if you
use Insert | File or have carefully selected all but the final paragraph
mark), it's best to press Enter a couple of times in the blank document
before pasting, just to ensure that it retains its formatting.

Thanks for the additional help. One of my problems, I think, is that I am
using a trial version of Word 2007 and I find it confusing. I have trouble
finding familiar things used on older versions and there is simply too much
"stuff". The more they add, the more confusing it gets.

I will take a look at that site. And yes, the water is very low. We own a
real estate company here, and the drought has really hurt our business this
year.

Thanks again...

Well, it's not like real estate is doing well anywhere. We're in a house in
what has become an uncomfortably upscale neighborhood (we paid $60,000 for
the house in 1980 and could probably have gotten half a million for it a
year or two ago). We should have taken the money and run before the bottom
fell out. There are a lot of For Sale signs nearby, but the market is
completely stagnant.
