I am trying to build a shared workplace and i keep getting a message telling
me that i am not using a trusted site and should add file location to my list
of trusted sites then try again.

Does anyone use this facility and can help?

This is not a Word issue. Perhaps you need to post it in a newsgroup for
Internet Explorer, assuming that's the browser you are using.
