How do I create a toggle checkmark box in a word template?
I am trying to create a word template that allows me to toggle between a box
and a box with a checkmark in it. I want the toggle to happen by using the spacebar. |

If you're creating a form, use a checkbox from the Forms toolbar, and
use Tools Protect Document when the template is complete. See http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=22 for a tutorial on forms. If you don't want to have to protect the template (which puts a lot of restrictions on the document), see http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Add_Toggle_Objects.htm for another method. These won't change with the spacebar, though. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
