Is there any way to default where the Envelope looks for adresses. When I
open the address book it goes right to Outlook, I need it to go to Contacts.

What do you mean by "it goes right to Outlook". Outlook is essentially the
Contacts list, and the address book is a view into it.

This is in Word 97, When I open the address book, it defaults to Outlook, I
drop down the box and under it is contacts. I would like to have it open to
contacts. The user that I am setting this up for seems to think this is one
more step they should not have to perform. Just wondering if there was a way
to change this. Thanks in advance.

You can certainly do this with Office 2003, but I am not sure about the
earlier versions. It is an Outlook setting, so you may get more information
from an Outlook newsgroup.
