how do you view source of a word document including a picture

This could be two different questions. If a picture is inserted as a link
and is in line with text, you can see the filename and path of the inserted
picture by viewing the INCLUDEPICTURE field (Alt+F9). If the document is
HTML, you can use View | HTML Source. This will show the IMG tags that will
indicate the path for images.
