Default Question?

I have created a blank document that will be used for each acct. Instead of
having to print out the document and write all the details, I need to make it
so that each user can just type in their information. But if I place
underscores to indicate blank spaces, when the user types the information,
the entire format of the document becomes a mess. Can someone help me find a
way to possibly make this document a template so that whenever one uses it,
all they can change is the information they type and not the format of the
document?

Thank You

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. Be sure to save this as a "template." Then
users can use File New to create and fill in a new document for each
situation.

Hope this helps,
