Question?
I have created a blank document that will be used for each acct. Instead of
having to print out the document and write all the details, I need to make it so that each user can just type in their information. But if I place underscores to indicate blank spaces, when the user types the information, the entire format of the document becomes a mess. Can someone help me find a way to possibly make this document a template so that whenever one uses it, all they can change is the information they type and not the format of the document? Thank You |

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian Chapman's series of articles. Be sure to save this as a "template." Then users can use File New to create and fill in a new document for each situation.
