Default Find in Field Help

I'm using Office 2003. My merge source is FileMaker Pro acting as an ODBC
data source (DataDirect 32-BIT SequeLink ODBC Driver) connected via an MS
Query .dqy file.

When I open my merge document, I can scroll through and merge any/all
records just fine. But, when I try to Find in Field it will not find any
records. However, if I click on Mail Merge Recipients and then click OK then
it will find records just fine.

I would hate for our users to have to do this. Is there a fix or a way to
replace this step via macro / VB? I am just getting my feet wet with editing
macros.

Thanks,
Carmen Mercer
