How do I start a new page without splitting paragraphs?
I am preparing a manuscript for a book publisher. For his/her convenience, I
want to send pages where the last paragraph of each page of the manuscript is complete, rather than split into two halves. |

In the style for your body text, turn on the paragraph attribute "Keep lines
together". (This is in the Format Paragraph dialog, on the Line and Page Breaks tab.) See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm for some other considerations. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. bubbiers wrote: I am preparing a manuscript for a book publisher.
