how do i type over a word (ie:x-out) and still be able to see it .
i am trying to edit a contract by xxxing over things i don't want included,
but i want to be able to see the original words below the x's. how do i do that? |

Turn on Revision Tracking (under the Tools menu) and under
ToolsOptionsRevision Tracking, set the deleted text mark to "Strikethrough". Then when you delete a word, it will remain in the document with the text struck through with hyphen-like characters. -- Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be interested.
