How to disable automatic spaces
Hello,
I've got a problem with Word XP as it is placing and removing spaces without asking. I've got 2 samples to illustrate my problem. Sample 1 (Copy & Paste): I've copied the text 'test' to the clipboard. When I paste the text into the sentence 'This is a sentence' between 'a' and 'sentence' I get 'This is a test sentence'. Notice the space after the word 'test'. This is added by Word without asking me. As I copy and paste a lot of stuff where it's meant to become one word this is very annoying. Sample 2 (Delete): I've got a text like 'Test ' followed by a paragraph ending. When I select 'Test' (and not the space behind it) and press 'Delete' then Word deletes the space as well. This is also very annoying. Can anyone tell me how to disable this 'intelligent'-behaviour? Many thanks in advance. Greetings, HD -- Message posted via http://www.officekb.com |
