"Default" for what purpose? Presumably not for text.

![]() I have changed the background color of my Word page to light yellow. I am trying to set this as the default color, or in someother way keep each page the same yellow color, for increased visibility. Thank you, Tom "Jezebel" wrote: "Default" for what purpose? You want all pages to have a light yellow background? Of every document you
create, or just the current document? But I still don't understand where 'default' comes in ... "ChiTom07" wrote in message ... I have changed the background color of my Word page to light yellow. Sorry, I may be asking the question incorrectly. I use the Word program for
writing. I find the background color of light yellow to be easier on my eyes, when it comes to contrast. I want this light color to be the color of the background in all of the pages I use for writing. I would like to change to the white background on special projects. Is there a way I can do this?..Thank you, Tom "Jezebel" wrote: You want all pages to have a light yellow background? Of every document you create, or just the current document? yes, for all intents and purposes, I want to make all pages in my word pages
a light yellow background. I want to be able to change back to white when necessary, but for most of my work I want there to be a light yellow background. Thnk you, Tom. This is easily done and will not affect the color of the printed page.
Right-click on your desktop and choose Properties (or use Start | Settings | Control Panel | Display). On the Appearance tab, change the "Window" color to one you like. I use a nice ivory myself, and it is easier on the eyes. I have saved this as a custom color scheme so that it is easy to switch back to Windows Standard (with white Window color) when I want to take screen shots for my Web site. -- Suzanne S.
