i am trying to find a macro or template that includes a version number and
last modified date for a document in the footer. i would like the field to
auto update when you load the document and if saved, be ready to do the same
next time. versioning of documents is pretty important. the format for the
version number should be n.nn so that perhaps the word version numbering that
exists can be the minor version, a user can force the change to a major
revision.
