I created a character style that I'm using within a heading style so that
text can be referenced in my footers. This has been working fine except for
the last page of a multipage section. Then the footer displays the content
from the following page instead of the preceding page. For example, the last
page of section 1 is displaying "Section 2" in the footer.

Any ideas why Word is behaving like this and how I can fix this?
