I have gone to every help menu or forum I can think of with no help as to the
problem that I am having. First, I understand that the new AutoComplete in
Word 2007 cannot be turned on or off. So, why is it being selective about
when it decides to autocomplete a calendar term on my computer? More
speicifically, I typically use the 97-2003 compatibility, because most of my
clients do not have Office 2007. It seems like everytime I work in a
document with that compatibility, the calendar term autocomplete works
sometimes, but not often. Any ideas? Thanks.

You haven't described the exact problem you are having, but here is a reply
from MVP Beth Melton to a similar question:

AutoComplete for dates has been a bit flakey for several versions. What I
have found is once you complete the month, press the Spacebar, Backspace,
then press the Spacebar again and you should see the suggestion to complete
the current date.
