Default how do I delete (not hide) all paragraph marks in word 2007?

I want to remove all paragraph marks from a word 2007 document which has
paragraph marks on each row. I don't want to hide them but delete them -
after doing this, the number of lines will halv and the length of each line
will double (roughly). Anyone knows how to do this in one or a few shots
rather than delete them one by one?
Thanks,

Use replace to replace ^p with a space then replace two spaces with one.
