Default french spellcheck

Which versions have french spellcheck available. I am running 1997. If I need
a newer version IS IT POSSIBLE TO ONLY INSTALL A WORD 2000 and leave other
office programs in 1997? The purpose is to keep my microsoft photo editor....
Which version should I run to have both of these features?

I believe Microsoft Photo Editor still comes with Office 2000 (and it will
still work even with Office 2003 if you reinstall it).

Hi ?B?bWlja2V5Zg==?=,

office programs in 1997? The purpose is to keep my microsoft photo editor....

Office 2000, at minimum. All later versions also have French as an additional
language in the English versions. I personally would prefer 2000 to XP/2002; I
also like working with 2003 and use that daily.

In all cases, if you do an advanced/customized type of setup you can choose what
to replace/retain from any existing Office version.
