red dotted underlined text
Hi just uploaded a Word document into Google Docs and it has red dotted underlined text throughout the document. What is this? It does not seem to be indicative of misspellings or grammatical errors.

Probably the document includes Tracked Changes (though if you've never used
Track Changes, the underlines would normally be solid). Go to the Review tab, find Track Changes, find Accept Changes, and choose "Accept All Changes in Document." (When you send someone a document with Tracked Changes in it, it opens with the changes showing, so that the recipient knows it's been altered deliberately.) How are you editing the document when you see these underlines? In Word
installed locally on your computer? Or some other way? In Word, underlines may indicate spelling errors, hidden text, or possibly tracked changes. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP wrote in message ...
