excel formulas in word docs
I want to create documents that look like a word file but have embedded
formulas. e.g. client receives file which has blanks. when they fill in blanks the formulas within alter all the totals and or calculations within the doc. They should not be allowed to alter formulas but input data only. Is this do-able in word? Alternately does excel allow for spreadsheets to be 'prettied'? |

This sounds like a job for an on-line form with form fields in table cells
to accept the input and formula fields to make the calculations. Note that the range of calculations you can perform is not as extensive as that provided by Excel. Excel itself can be formatted to provide whatever appearance you want, but for that you need to take the issue to an Excel forum. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org HKPete wrote: I want to create documents that look like a word file but have embedded formulas. e.g. client receives file which has blanks. when they fill in blanks the formulas within alter all the totals and or calculations within the doc.
