Default Editing mail merge files

1. What type of data source? Is it the sort you can create within Word
itself, that you save with a .mdb extension? Or something else?

2. Did you go into Edit Recipients, then select the data source name in the
"Data Source" box at the lower left, to enable the Edit option? If so, can
you you spell out what went wrong?

I simply want to change the name of a recipient (address is the same, blah
blah), but 2007 doesn't seem to let me do that; the previous version did.
Please advise.

Thank you!
