I installed Word 2003 on a system running WinXP SP2. When I enter tools to
try and activate the "Recently used file list" option, it is grayed out and
not accessable. Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution??

If you used TweakUI or a registry hack to suppress the Recent
Documents list on the Start menu, the Office applications are
responding to the same change in the registry. You'll have to undo
that change to get the lists back.
