White spaces appearing above and below the text
Hi,
I've working on a document that's originally in Works 6.0 - 9.0 format. For some reason, there are now large white spaces above and below the text on every page. When I view formatting, I see the white spaces filled with grey-out paragraph breaks. It's not vertical centering and the margins have not been increased. How do I get rid of the white spaces? Any help will be much appreciated! |

The greyed-out paragraph marks are in the headers and footers. Delete them.

Thanks very much, Jezebel, that worked perfectly. You've rescued my Saturday
afternoon! Just curious now - how could they get in there like that? I don't recollect setting headers and footers at all for this document. And I certainly would not have put in blank white spaces. Is this a glitch? Did I hit CTRL + something by mistake? "Jezebel" wrote: The greyed-out paragraph marks are in the headers and footers. Delete them. I was once involved with a major malfunction at a chemical plant. The expert
from Union Carbide flew in, looked around, announced that it was a UCPP, and flew out again. Unexplained Chemcial Plant Phenomenon. In your case we can determine unequivocally that the problem occurred at 11:17 when answered the phone while drinking coffee, and didn't notice that your hand was on the keyboard.
