I would like to create a form in Word that would have many pull down menus
and then save the information in either an Excel spreadsheet of access DB. I am not sure how to start and would appreciate any help on where to begin. Thanks in advance. |

Pull down and Save to Excel
Hi ?B?RGFuaWVsbA==?=,
I would like to create a form in Word that would have many pull down menus and then save the information in either an Excel spreadsheet of access DB. I am not sure how to start and would appreciate any help on where to begin. I'm curious why you'd create the form (userform / dialog box?) in Word, then want to save the information in a different application? One things certain: this would require a macro (VBA) solution, which means you need to follow up on this in a word.vba newsgroup (for developer questions). When you ask there, you should include more information, such as - the reason (because everyone will ask the same question I did) - the version of Word - any macro/programming background you may have, so that we know at what level to start the discussion - more details about what you want to do and how it should look To give yourself some background, I recommend looking at the tutorials on word.mvps.org concerning creating UserForms, creating menus/toolbars and exchanging data with Excel/Access.
