Header looks washed out.
Is there any way to not have the header/footer look washed out/watermarked? I
want it to appear on screen just as it will print. |

Not without removing it from the header.

Header looks washed out.
Why can't you just view the header and select the text and right-click on it
and select font and select automatic or whatever other color you want! I hope this has been helpful to you. -- Carol A. Header looks washed out.
This is by design. Print Preview is the only view that will show you exactly
what will print. -- Suzanne S. Header looks washed out.
How would that help? The header would still be washed out (as intended) and
it would no longer print the same -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Carol wrote: Why can't you just view the header and select the text and right-click on it and select font and select automatic or whatever other color you want! Header looks washed out.
Thank you for the responses. There really should be a new option to turn
this feature off. 'Cause if you're using a letterhead and you e-mail the document to people, they aren't able to see it as it was intended. "eyepure" wrote: Is there any way to not have the header/footer look washed out/watermarked? I want it to appear on screen just as it will print. |

Header looks washed out.
If you send a letter to someone who has Word they will be aware of this as
it is normal behaviour, however if you send a Word document as attachment then there are other issues that will affect how the document appears. If you want a document to appear as it would be printed at your end, then send it in PDF format, for which you will need extra software to create the PDFs. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org eyepure wrote: Thank you for the responses.
