Default Auto installing word templates

Hi ?B?RGVyeW4=?=,

Better place to address this question would be the word.vba.addins newsgroup.
Generally, you used to be able to get this information from the system or by
knowing the installation defaults. But for recent versions of Word this has no
longer been possible (security!).

We have been asked to create a template, no problem there...

However the template has to be automatically installed on different versions
of Word, 97, 98, 2000, & XP etc.

We would like to allow the user to insert a CD and have it automatically put
the template in the right directory, does any have experience of this, is
there an installer already available to carry out this task?
