Suzanne S. Barnhill shared this with us in
microsoft.public.word.newusers:

Almost as cheap is Microsoft Works Suite 2005, which includes Word
2002. You can get it from Amazon for $89 (with free shipping), and
there is a $20 rebate in effect through January 1, 2006, making the
effective cost only $69. In addition to Word, the suite includes
Works, Encarta, Money, PictureIt!, and Streets & Trips. See
http://www.microsoft.com/products/wo...s.aspx?pid=001

$69 for Microsoft Works Suite 2005 = 69 reasons to use OpenOffice.
