Filename & Path Autotext
When I attempt to insert the filename and path at the bottom of a Word
document it is only giving me the filename and not the complete path. In the past it was giving me the entire filename and path but stopped suddenly. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? |

Filename & Path Autotext
Now that look more closely it appears that the predefine autotext function
has been deleted. How do I redefine a new Autotext function to get this ability back? "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: How are you inserting the filename and path? -- Suzanne S. Filename & Path Autotext
Insert the field using Insert | Field | FileName, adding the \p switch (or
type it manually by pressing Ctrl+F9 and typing FILENAME \p between the braces), then select the resulting field and save it as an AutoText entry. Be sure to do this in the header or footer so it will be in the right style and will show up on the AutoText menu on the Header and Footer toolbar. -- Suzanne S.
