In Word 2007, this command works as long as the document is open, but it's broken when you close and reopen the document because it fails to save the necessary bookmark. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

Hate to hear that. We have been true WordPerfect advocates, clear back to
4.2 for DOS. We recently had to move to from WordPerfect to Office 2007. I have always used and been very proficient with both Office Suites, I simply preferred WordPerfect because it is easier to use and has the flexiblility we need for in house forms. The table features in WordPerfect (equivalent to Excel) were incredible, and they allowed you to merge directly from databases, address books and more. Word will not. Excel has the spreadsheet ability but no Merge features to create routine reports. It's taken months to recreate our forms and daily documents and we are missing many of the features and capabilities we had with WordPerfect.
