Default auto text

word 2000 had auto text which allowed me to type a few characters of a common
sentence and word would fill in the rest. How do I get word 2007 to do this
without using a drop down menu???????

Default auto text

You can't. To the dismay of many the autocomplete tip feature is gone.

You can type those first few characters of your AutoText entry and press F3
to complete the entry.
