Default How do I stop autocorrect in Word

when I type cc: at the bottom of a letter autocorrect changes it to Cc: In
Autocorrect menu I asked it to correct Cc: to cc: but it didn't work. I also
put in Exceptions not to capitalize cc and that doesn't work. In Word 98,
autocorrect would replace Cc: with cc: but since then in Word 2000 and Word
2003 it doesn't work. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
