Default Word contacts is empty - but not in Outlook

In word the outlook contacts has no addresses but in the outlook Contacts it
has many how can I connect to the correct outlook address book

Default Word contacts is empty - but not in Outlook

Set the properties of the contacts list in Outlook to qualify as an e-mail
address book.
If this doesn't fix it, delete the Outlook Address Book from Outlook
Tools e-mail accounts Directory (This doesn't delete the Contacts list)
then add it again. If yoiu have more than one contacts list you can set the
order from Address Book tools options.
