Best advice - don't even try to do that kind of layout work in Word - or any
other Word Processing program, for that matter. You can type your copy with one if you wish, then insert the content into a layout created using a desktop publishing program. There are plenty to choose from including MS Publisher right straight up to InDesign & QuarkXPress.
