Running Vista with all Windows updates and new reinstall of Office 2007. Word
200 crashes and will not close and will not save a file. Seems to work if I
open a file in SAFE mode. Also, on-line help suggestions regarding registery
entries appear to be for non-Vista systems. HELP!

The usual causes a

1. Misbehaving add-in.

2. Corrupted Normal.dotm.

3. Corrupted registry entry (usually the Data key). For Word 2007 (both XP
and Vista), the Data key is located he
