When I enter the footer for the first page - which I want to be L-3, then all
the footers of all the pages of the document state: L- 3. I want subsequent pages to have footers such as L-4, L-5, L-6 etc. How do I do this? Thank you, Nestor Portocarrero |

Use page numbering fields. You can start the number with 3 or you can use a
computation field. Take a look at http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Number...eNumbering.htm. I think you need to specify that in the page numbers dialogue. Not sure
about that though. "Portocar" wrote in message ... When I enter the footer for the first page - which I want to be L-3, then all the footers of all the pages of the document state: L- 3. Hi Nestor

If there's not more to it, you had best told Word to start your page count at "3", and then add "L-" before a PAGE field in your footer.
