Default Word 2007 Link from Excel Printing Boxes

I have an MSWord 2007 document which links to an Excel 97 spreadsheet. The
data updates correctly on the Word doc but when I print it, all the data from
Excel is surrounded by a box outline. Does anyone know how to eliminate the
outline? I have checked the formatting in Word and Excel and there is no
outline in either case. Thanks
