Getting an opening error in Word
I've started getting a new error message when I try to open a Word document
from my Windows Explorer files by double clicking on the file. Before, doing this would just start Word and then the document would open within Word. Now I get an error message window that says: "The command could not be performed because there is a dialogue box open. Click OK and then close dialogue boxes to continue." If I click OK the document then opens. There are no dialogue boxes open that I can see. Opening a Word document from inside Word doesn't produce this error message. Can anyone please advise me on what may be going wrong? Thanks a lot for any advice. |

If you have Norton AntiVirus installed, disable its Office Plug-in.
