Default Grey crosshairs - how to get rid of

So I open up Word 2003 one day, and grey crosshairs are appearing on each
corner of my pages at the edge of the margins. I didn't ask for them, and I
don't want them. How do I switch them off?

Thanks for any replies. You are saving my sanity!

These "crop marks" are usually the result of having an East Asian language
enabled
in Office. Go to Start All Programs Microsoft Office Microsoft Office
Tools Microsoft Office 2003 Language Settings, and remove any East Asian
languages from the Enabled box.
