Default Search facility

I am using Word 2000 on Win XP home.

I would to be able to use the search facility that is available in "Tools" when you open Words "Open" dialogue box.
I keep getting the following message
"The filters required to perform this search could not be installed. The search cannot be completed as specified."

What can I do to fix this problem?

Try asking this in the word.setup.networking newsgroup, possibly with a cross-post to office.setup
