Default change the look of a new button in office 2007

I want to change the look of a button in the quick acces toolbar with a
design of my onw. How is this done? Is it possible to make these buttons
bigger?

Through the user interface, you cannot modify the appearance of a button on
the quick access toolbar other than that which is displayed for a macro that
you might add to the toolbar. To modify that, click on the Modify button in
the dialog where you customize the toolbar.

If anyone has succeeded in modifying any of the other buttons, they are
keeping it a damned good secret.
